Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Deposit Policy

A 50% deposit is required to secure your ceremony date. This deposit is non-refundable once your booking is confirmed and the contract is signed.

2. Final Payment

The remaining 50% balance is due 3 weeks (21 days) before your ceremony date. Failure to make the final payment may result in cancellation of your booking.

3. Cancellation by Client

More than 60 days before ceremony:

• Deposit is non-refundable
• Final payment (if made) will be refunded minus a $100 administrative fee

30-60 days before ceremony:

• Deposit is non-refundable
• 50% of final payment refunded (if paid)

Less than 30 days before ceremony:

• No refunds available
• Full payment is required and non-refundable

4. Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your ceremony, we will make every effort to accommodate a new date subject to officiant availability. Rescheduling fees may apply:

• First reschedule: No charge (within 60 days notice)
• Second reschedule: $50 administrative fee
• Less than 30 days notice: $150 rescheduling fee

5. Cancellation by Wedding Officiant Canada

In the unlikely event that we must cancel your ceremony due to circumstances beyond our control (illness, emergency, etc.), we will:

• Attempt to provide a replacement officiant of equal qualification
• If no replacement is available, provide a full refund of all payments made
• We are not liable for any additional costs incurred

6. Weather-Related Cancellations

Outdoor ceremonies are subject to weather conditions. In case of severe weather:

• We will work with you to reschedule to the next available date (no fee)
• If your ceremony proceeds despite weather, no refunds will be issued
• We recommend having a backup indoor location

7. No-Show Policy

If you fail to appear for your scheduled ceremony without prior notice, the full payment is forfeited and no refund will be issued.

8. Service Upgrades

Additional services and upgrades purchased (rehearsals, extended ceremonies, etc.) are subject to the same cancellation terms as the base service.

9. Processing Fees

Please note that credit card processing fees (3%) are non-refundable. All refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

10. Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (pandemic, natural disaster, government restrictions, etc.), we will work with you to reschedule your ceremony. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
