Yes! As long as you have a licensed Ontario officiant performing the ceremony and two witnesses, your backyard wedding is fully legal. We handle all the marriage license paperwork.
How much space do we need?
You need enough room for your guests plus a small ceremony area (typically 8x8 feet). Even a modest patio or garden can work beautifully for an intimate ceremony.
Do you provide decorations?
We focus on the ceremony itself, but we can recommend trusted decor vendors and coordinate with your setup. Many couples create a beautiful DIY backdrop or arch.
What if it rains?
We always recommend having a backup plan — a tent, canopy, or indoor space. We're flexible and can adapt the ceremony to work in any space, indoors or out.
How much does a backyard wedding cost?
Our personalized backyard ceremony starts at $549. Pricing may vary based on location, travel distance, and guest count. Mileage is included for locations within 50km of our office.
